Before writing an essay, there are a few things that you need to take note of. Here are a few things you need to consider.

Knowing What Your Essay Is About

You need to know what kind of essay you are going to write. There are several kinds of essays, like argumentative essays, personal essays, etc. 

Preparations

After you know what kind of essay you want to write, you need to do some preparations before actually writing an essay.

• Brainstorming

Try to collect your thoughts and generate many ideas before writing an essay.

• Outlining

After you have generated many ideas, organize your ideas in a logical and progressive order. You will need to make a structure for your essay.

Start to Write Your Essay

• Drafting

Start to write your essay based on some preparations you have done. At this stage, this is not your final draft so it's okay to make mistakes.

• Revising

After writing your first draft, you will need to revise it for the second time, third time, or even more. You can revise it until you think your essay is perfect.

What To Do After Writing?

When you have done writing your essay and you are also done revising it, you can go through your essay and correct the misspellings, formatting issues, or grammatical errors. Then, your essay will automatically be perfect!
